Geared for new students with a focus on basic karate techniques, fitness, and character building including; Integrity, Confidence, Courtesy, Leadership, Perseverance, and Respect.
For Beginners, upper belts are encouraged to attend to fine tune basic skills and assist newer students.
Regardless of whether you want to become a competitive athlete, learn self-defense techniques or simply become more physically fit, this program will help you achieve your goal. You develop increased endurance and muscle tone, improve balance, quicker reflexes, and most importantly, a greater sense of well-being and stress reduction. No previous experience is required. If you do have some experience in martial arts, this program is a great place to rediscover the many benefits of martial arts training.
Beginners class start at age 8 through adult. We have multiple parent/child students and encourage you to participate as a family.
No! Many of our students are grown ups who practice martial arts for health and long term self-improvement. We challenge you according to your ability and fitness level. You don’t have to spar unless: (a) you feel ready; and (b) we think you’re ready. However students that do not spar can only advance to the rank of yellow belt.
No! Part of our process is figuring out your fitness level and making sure we help you learn while gradually improving your fitness.
No! We have a passion to teach and do not offer long term contracts.
